Alfie Devine of Tottenham Hotspur is poised to join KVC Westerlo on loan

According to Gazet van Antwerpen, Spurs and the Belgian club have’reached an agreement’ on the 20-year-old’s transfer.

Westerlo can sign the Tottenham player as the Belgian transfer market shuts on Friday.

Spurs signed Luka Vušković from Hajduk Split in September 2023. He will join the club in the summer of 2025.

In July, the Jupiler Pro League side signed the 17-year-old on loan from Hajduk Split. They also had negotiations with Tottenham about the Croatian. Spurs scout has been monitoring Vušković’s progress at Westerlo, and the two teams communicate weekly.

Since then, Westerlo have maintained a ‘excellent connection’ with the Premier League club, which has aided them in reaching an arrangement with Devine. To make the deal official, the attacking midfielder must undergo medical testing and sign a contract.

The Spurs official who has been studying the Croatian will soon have another player to keep an eye on in Westerlo.

The England U20 international spent last season on loan at Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle. His contract at Spurs runs until 2027.

Tottenham are looking to sign a dynamic midfielder with 14 goals and 24 assists, who could be available for free.

Tottenham are allegedly interested in signing Lille’s excellent midfielder Angel Gomes as they look to reinforce their team with technically competent players

According to HITC, Spurs have been keeping a close eye on Gomes, who has impressed in Ligue 1 and could be available for free transfer.

Angel Gomes, a Manchester United academy alumnus, has continued to improve his game in France, receiving his first senior call-up to England’s national squad under Lee Carsley.

The 24-year-old, known for his precision passing, ball retention, and tactical intelligence, has emerged as a key player for Lille, where he has consistently performed in recent seasons.

Gomes, who is in the penultimate year of his contract with Lille, has gained recognition for his ability to influence play from midfield. Last season, he took on a more prominent role, wearing the club’s historic number 8 shirt and making key contributions to Lille’s campaign.

He appeared in 45 games across all competitions, scoring two goals and giving ten assists, highlighting his value to the squad.

Gomes has made 160 senior appearances for Lille, Boavista FC, and Manchester United, scoring 14 goals and assisting 24 times.

His versatility and technical abilities make him an enticing candidate for Tottenham, who are aiming to improve the depth and quality of their midfield.

Tottenham’s interest in Gomes reflects their strategic approach to the transfer market, which focuses on acquiring players who can improve their style of play.

His probable availability on a free transfer adds to the attractiveness, as Spurs want to enhance their team without incurring large financial costs.

As Gomes’ contract status remains unresolved, Tottenham will be eager to examine the idea of moving the brilliant midfielder to North London, thereby expanding their alternatives in the middle of the park.
