If the way St. Mirren fans treat Kwon is any indication, he is having a good time in Paisley. Brendan Rodgers will be monitoring Kwon’s improvement.
Celtic making former Man Utd boss move receives thumbs up as membership diehard shares what he has ‘heard’ about Rodgers
A madcap theory surrounding a former Man United boss and Celtic has engulfed.
Talk of Jose Mourinho has been met with a thumbs up – but Alan Brazil’s Celticfears are rooted in the here and now.
The former Scotland international and Hoops diehard has his concerns after the premiership champions dropped to 2nd behind Rangers. A 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock leaves them chasing in advance of this weekend’s game against Motherwell.
Some followers have been left undecided about the place a hard patch leaves Rodgers’ future in Glasgow, with talkSPORT’s Shebahn Ahern floating the possibility of former Chelsea and Man United boss Mourinho changing Rodgers at Parkhead.
He is out of work after time at Roma. While Brazil likes the sound of that, he is greater focused on what he is heard about present-day gaffer Rodgers.
Speaking on his talkSPORT breakfast show, he said: “I would like Mourinho at Celtic…I idea you were going to say he used to be going to Bayern there! Look, I don’t comprehend what’s happening at Celtic at the moment.
“There may be a problem, I would possibly be incorrect but I heard there used to be a trouble with the pitch, and Rodgers desired cash for gamers but did not get it. These are things I’ve been informed that might now not be 100 percent true. What I do know is, seem to be at the results, there may be something now not right….”
Ahern claimed previously: “I like the idea. He’s in his 60s now, he’s a legend, I suppose he ought to spice up the Scottish Premiership. I suppose the thought of Jose Mourinho being involved in Old Firms [derby against Rangers] ought to be complete magic and also it ought to supply them a threat of Europe.
“It would be utter chaos and we like to see that. Okay, there may be strains to the chaos right here but I do assume that there is something in it there.
“You look at the job that Jose did at Roma, the proud moments that it introduced for him over his career, Celtic is a massive club all over the world, a world-renowned club.
“And then we speak about money, would they be able to afford him? You seem at what he earned at Roma, it used to be around about € 6 million the income over the year, [Brendan Rodgers is on] about £3-3.5million but we all understand the fee of residing is a little bit more cost-effective in Glasgow.”
Pundit believes he knows the real cause Matt O’Riley’s structure at Celtic is suffering
The structure of the Celtic crew is something that has stricken the followers for several months now
Gone is the fast, free-flowing soccer that we loved under Ange Postecoglou and it has been changed with a a whole lot slower tempo and patient build-up by Brendan Rodgers.
The damage troubles Rodgers has had to deal with haven’t helped but overall, the supporters are much less than impressed with what they have been looking at from their group recently.
And it has worked. Two desires in his remaining two video games mean that Kyogo ought to be about to recapture his satisfactory structure but, it seems, that this has been to the detriment of Matt O’Riley. That’s according to pundit, Gordon Dalziel.
Dalziel stated [Superscoreboard], “When he bought changed into that number 10 function he scored two goals. I’ve stated from day one that Kyogo, for me is an out-and-out striker.
“Brendan Rodgers, at St Mirren, had to exchange information. It wasn’t in reality working and he was once coming in for criticism with his wingers.
“So he determined to go with the two strikers. He received the game and they played pretty well and anyone used to be pretty happy.
“What I thought was once the distinction for me is, Matt O’Riley was in the shape of his life. And every time I suppose Kyogo gets played on that 10, he suffers from it.
“I don’t suppose he can make the same runs, I don’t assume his timing is right and the whole lot about it short. He sacrifices a little bit of his game.
“But if I was taking part in my strongest side, I would play Kyogo through the middle all day due to the fact I suppose he’s such an extraordinary participant on the shoulder of defenders and causes so many problems.”
Matt O’Riley’s Celtic form
Out of all the players off form, Matt O’Riley should have difficulty with the Celtic supporters. The 23-year-old has been one of the team’s most excellent players over the previous two seasons and it did seem to be like he had kicked on beneath Rodgers.
You have to go as a way lower back as the start of January when O’Riley contributed with a goal and assist in the 3-0 win over St Mirren but when you consider that then he has generally been disappointing. [Transfermarkt]
The Celtic support will be hoping O’Riley turns this around soon because, with 12 video games left of the season, the group wants him to locate his goalscoring contact if they have any hope of winning the league.
