Change is needed, and it’s needed now beginning with recruitment…

It’s no secret that we need a change of path at the top. It’s been common know-how for many months. We have too many bodies in positions of power who have their feet firmly positioned underneath the table. It’s shortly becoming a location the place its jobs for their boys, that sort of environment. The region is filled full of dinosaurs who have no vision for the membership and are solely interested in what they can take.

That isn’t an overreaction, yes we have loved our truthful share of success over the years, but they don’t seem to want to push on from there and achieve even greater success. It looks our aim is to remain totally static. It’s apparently the Celtic way and has been for many a year now.

Our recruitment policy is an instance of that. We have cash in the bank, lots of money, but these in cost appear reluctant to spend it, and when they do it’s used on mediocrity. On Saturday we started out with Tony Ralston, Stephen Welsh and Liam Scales in the again four. Two of whom are of route products of the formative years academy and the different costing £500k  from Shamrock Rovers.

While on the bench we had Maik Nawrocki who value round £3-4 million in the summer, while Gustaf Lagerbielke who was also added in at a cost of around £3 million and he’s no longer even viewed correct sufficient for a region in the Brendan’s squad and used to be left sitting in the primary stand (below) at the back of Peter Lawwell and Michael Nicholson.

Nicolas Kuhn our £3 million January signing started out on the bench as did summer signing Yang. Adam Idah of direction started out but he’s solely on loan besides an option to sign and other that two properly struck penalties against Hibs, he’s now not had a sniff at a aim yet.

That is not top sufficient for a club of our stature. It’s clear incompetence and indicates that greater than one character is failing to do their job properly. It’s Gross misconduct, properly it would be in most other workplaces up and down the country. It need’s rectifying and that skill putting off all of us in the scouting and recruitment department. We need to begin from scratch and assemble an whole new department in that area.

Preferably folks who are in a position and know what they are doing. It’s additionally vital they have no connection to the club or everybody running the club. We need fresh faces and ideas in almost each region of the membership starting with scouting and recruitment, which is the most vital aspect if we choose to proceed enjoying the success we’ve been so used to these past years.

This image under from June 2023, shows Brendan Rodgers applauding the supporters who became up at Celtic Park to welcome him returned to the club. The incoming, returning Celtic manager promised them that we’d again on The Celtic Way in May 2024 celebrating a title win.  Just a reminder that we haven’t forgotten about that promise.
