The midfielder was one of the star performances at the World Cup in Qatar, and while Morocco was unable to finish third, the side did their entire country and continent proud.

Amrabat’s list of suitors has risen considerably since the competition began, with Liverpool looking desperate to beat everyone to it.

Jürgen Klopp had previously visited with the player’s agents to discuss a prospective transfer, and Lions de L’Atlas in Morocco claims the Reds have a “head start” on the competition.

Amrabat ‘liked Klopp’s remarks,’ which means the midfielder now has a ‘clear predisposition’ towards a move to Anfield.

In fact, Liverpool has ‘made it be known’ that they will’make a €45m offer’ to Fiorentina in order to persuade them, which is expected to fulfill the Serie A club’s desire to let him go.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but it’s evident that Amrabat will have to make a decision on his future sooner rather than later.

Nat Phillips, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Bobby Clark (on loan), Ben Doak (on loan), and, unexpectedly, Roberto Firmino could all depart Anfield in January, according to the Liverpool Echo.

With a new midfielder on the way and their contracts set to expire in the summer, Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain are the most likely to leave Liverpool.

Firmino’s contract expires in the summer, but it would be surprising if the Brazilian departed because he has been outstanding for Klopp’s side and the German coach as injury difficulties up top with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota out for some time.
