The selection of Andy Madley to officiate Liverpool’s match against Crystal Palace on Saturday has been made official

The Reds will need a favor from Aston Villa in order to beat Arsenal at Selhurst Park, but they want to finish the weekend on top of the Premier League table.

Liverpool have dominated progressive Head Association matches, an emotional 4-3 triumph over Fulham and a somewhat less wild 2-0 triumph over Sheffield Joined together.

The Reds will be confident of trying not to any administer discussion in Saturday’s initial start up, with Madley the man entrusted with directing procedures in London.


He will be joined by his assistants Nick Hopton and Harry Lennard, and the fourth official for the game will be Tom Bramall.

John Creeks will be on VAR obligation and he will be joined by Adam Nunn as his aide.

ANDY MADLEY’S RECORD IN LIVERPOOL GAMES
Madley has assumed responsibility for 11 Liverpool games before and the uplifting news for Jurgen Klopp is that they have never lost a game he has directed.

Of the 11, Liverpool have won seven and drawn four, with Madley most as of late refereeing the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Luton Town recently.

Even though he was in charge of the famous 7-0 victory over Manchester United in the latter stages of the previous campaign, that was the only match Madley has officiated for Liverpool this season.

Madley has only given Fulham one penalty on the opening day of the previous season, but he has given out 11 yellow cards, which is only one per Liverpool game. He has not given out any red cards.

The 40-year-old has once managed a gathering among Liverpool and Royal residence, a 3-0 triumph for the Reds back in 2021.

From an officiating standpoint, Madley’s Liverpool games have generally been without drama, though he typically contributes a lot of goals.
