The current contract of the France international with Die Fohlen expires at the conclusion of the campaign. As a result, unless the Bundesliga team decides to sell him in January, the 25-year-old is scheduled to become a free agent in the summer of 2023

But in order to part ways with Thuram during the current transfer window, Die Fohlen would demand £13.2 million. His Premier League rivals Chelsea are also interested in signing him, so if he rejects a new contract, that will be good news for them since they can expect a discounted transfer in January or a free transfer in the summer

Inter Milan, on the other hand, has already extended an offer to the France international, giving him a four-year contract to sign in June. As potential suitors for the 25-year-old, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also been mentioned

Thuram, who joined Gladbach in the summer of 2019, has decided he wants to leave the team. So, it’s still unclear which team will ultimately hire the forward

During his stint with Gladbach, the France international has primarily played on the wings. Although the 25-year-old has excelled there, Daniel Farke has chosen to use him predominantly as a number nine

With Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to depart the club in November, United’s front line has lost a little bit of strength. Anthony Martial is the only natural striker in the team left, leaving Erik ten Hag without a hitting partner

Thuram’s appearance also made Didier Deschamps notice him. He was a member of the Les Bleus team that advanced to the 2022 World Cup final. But in the penalty shootouts, France fell to Argentina

In the current season, the 25-year-old has demonstrated his ability to score goals. But given the number of teams that might be vying for his services for free in the summer, it would be shrewd for the Red Devils to negotiate a contract in January if they do decide to sign him
